Darien Consulting Group, Inc. was established in 1978 and has been involved in banking consulting and software since then. It provides software maintenance services to a number of banks, and most recently launched Bank Report Runner, the proprietary system described below.

Bank Report Runner is a simple but effective way to run financial reports on U.S. insured banks, based on the FDIC Call Report data issued quarterly. Bank Report Runner is an executable (program) designed especially to run, print, or export financial reports that have been written specifically for it. It comes with a subscription service to provide the new specially-formatted quarterly data as it is published. It also comes with a collection of existing reports. In addition, depending on the grade of subscription, you can order custom reports designed to your specific needs.

The software accepts preliminary inputs of parameters and allows reports that employ a number of different quarters of information. It allows reports that compare one or more banks with a peer group.
